Knowing to become more helpless than a baby in the long term - if they don't find something to "heal" it - is not a nice perspective.
My neighbour had "Alzheimer" (a form of it), at the end she was not able to eat, she simple forgot that need. My grandfather also has "Alzheimer" (a form of it) and atm. he does not recognise his own children and actually it's getting worse.
Well that sucks.
