What is ktouchpadenabler?
ktouchpadenabler is a kded daemon that listens to the XF86XK_TouchpadToggle/XF86XK_TouchpadOn/XF86XK_TouchpadOff key presses and toggles/enables/disables your touchpad accordingly.

This is so cool. I installed it right away and it works perfect on my Lenovo T61. Is there a way to use it on a MacBook, since I can not find a dedicated key. Can I bind an arbitrary key to it?

At the moment it only listens to the keys listen in the main blog.
Not sure if you can change your keymap to fake a keypress of one of those when you press some other key or a key combination but no idea how to do that to be honest
Hi, it does not work in an Acer Aspire. Is there a place where I can open a bug to provide information?
Either the kded is not loaded
qdbus org.kde.kded /kded org.kde.kded.loadedModules | grep ktouch

@xuani, you install it like any other kde program, untar, cmake, make install. If you are not familiar with this procedure there's lot of literature in the internet on how to do this, but better would be if you ping your distribution of choice to package it.

I'm looking to package this for inclusion in debian but the copyright including in the source is incomplete. Could you update the file to include your information?
