The death of http://www.kde.org/announcements/changelogs/*.php

The KDE SC Release Team has decided to not use the http://www.kde.org/announcements/changelogs/*.php files generated from the changelog_branch_*.xml anymore.

If you want your bugfix to be linked from the announcement make sure it has the "Version Fixed In" correctly set so it appears in this query (and in the future replace 4.9.1 with the correct version ;-))

  1. This implies all the components of bugs.KDE.org that release as part of the SC have release number versions, is this the case?

  2. No, it does not imply that.

It implies you fill the "Version Fixed In" with the SC number. Yes it can be a bit confusing but it can be done https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=304789

  4. @Anonymous: Which means you didn't read the linked discussion in the release-team list. Which has more information http://www.kde.org/announcements/changelogs/changelog4_8_4to4_8_5.php or https://bugs.kde.org/buglist.cgi?bug_status=RESOLVED&bug_status=VERIFIED&bug_status=CLOSED&bugidtype=include&chfield=cf_versionfixedin&chfieldfrom=2011-06-01&chfieldto=Now&chfieldvalue=4.8.5&list_id=172283&query_format=advanced&order=product%2Cbug_id&query_based_on=

  5. Great ! Good news.
    It's right I didn't time to update changelogs for KMail/Kdepim (but I used a lot bugs.kde.org)
So it's a very good idea to use it.

    Thanks
