hey there, just a comment on the pdf reader, i dont like adobe acrobat either but i have been using foxit reader for some time now, its good + also small download :)

The problem with FoxIt is that it is not FREE, just free.
Sumatra PDF is NOT poppler based. Rather it used MuPDF.
Sumatra PDF was based on poppler when i wrote this blog back in 2006 :-P
